Family Session Swap {Central Florida Family Photographer}

Have you ever wondered what photographers do when they want pictures of there own family? OK, let me clarify....I mean pictures of their own family with them actually IN the picture? They swap with a camera hugging friend! Cassie Meitzler is a very talented photographer that I met through networking and just adore! We have been chatting back and forth and finally met in person at Tea Infusion. Cassie suggested a family session swap so we can actually be in our family pictures for a change! Cassie took our family photos last week on Friday and on Sunday I got to enjoy some time with her family (husband Richard and adorable son Cale) at Casa Feliz in Winter Park. OK, I must say that this session was by far the "dirtiest" family session I have yet to experience and by "dirty" I mean we all needed a shower as soon as we got home! Not only is this summer heat a killer but to top it off Laura and Karim, along with their two adorable kiddos (Braden and Brinley), went along with the fun and spent some playful picture time in the freshly watered grass. OK, so Laura would probably say the worst part was not picking off all the grass and dirt off their clothes but instead picking Brinley up out of the water after a harmless wipe-put (kudos to mom and dad though for letting her explore). Thank goodness for a change of clothes! I always say that my sessions are full of excitement =) Thank you Karim and Laura! Sure was worth it!!!!

Welcome to the World {Central Florida Baby Photographer}

Aghh...only 6 days old at the time of the shoot, baby Quinn slept all three hours of our session. As you can see she was a complete doll and certainly brought back lots of sweet memories of that special time with my kids. Thank you to Shoie for completely handing over her baby....I am just sorry she didn't get to go back to bed =) You may remember the maternity pictures of Shoie (mom) and her daughter Ava at the Baldwin Park location on the wicker bench surrounded by unkept landscaping. It is hard to believe Quinn is here already. Thank you again Shoie! I hope you are sleeping at this very minute...

3 Months Already!

It feels like I just posted pictures of Dorothy and Steve Martin when expecting their son Jack. I can't believe here I am posting pictures now of little Jack at 3 months old! Dorothy is such a fun and awesome mom, not to mention very smart getting this cute "bear" hat for Jack's pictures. I am seriously searching for it as soon as this post goes up. Anyway, there are lots more picture to come from Dorothy and Steve since they have me booked for several more sessions to capture Jack's first year! Thanks again to both of you....he is just so squishy sweet! - Shelby
