Life In Focus Event (LIFE) {Simply Shelby Photography and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children}

Today was the official "launch" of my Life In Focus Event (LIFE) at the Trinity Lutheran School and Church. Starting 10/1/10 every client of mine who donates a toy from the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children's wishlist (www.simplyshelbyphoto.com/LIFE/wishlist.pdf) will receive a FREE 8x10 Gift portrait! This goes for all PAST, CURRENT and FUTURE sessions and will be valid one time per client family each year! All toys donated will benefit the Congenital Heart Institute and the one out of every 100 babies born with a congenital heart defect who in some cases may need open heart surgery as early as 1 day of life. (In-kind donation forms are available at www.simplyshelbyphoto.com/LIFE/inkind.pdf) Also, if you book a session in October, 50% of your session fee will be donated to this cause. Let the Holiday Sessions Begin! {Central Florida Family Photography}

Ready, set, go! The holiday session is officially off and running with a three month stretch ahead of me. Good thing I absolutely LOVE my job and adore each and every family I photograph. The holiday picture season starts with my very own parents who actually asked me about doing their holiday cards this year. My mom really wanted a picture with her grandchildren (my daughter-Ella, son-Oliver and niece-Kylie) to put on her holiday card. Well, here they are...a sneak peek (& spoiler alert for all you will get their card this year). Thanks mom and dad....I love you both more than you will ever know. Love, Shelby

The Crampton Family {Orlando Family Photographer}

Aghhh....the Crampton Family! I will start off first by saying that Brody and Colby Crampton are the most loving little subjects EVER! My morning started out with "who could give Miss Shelby the biggest hugs" and then "who can help Miss Shelby carry her stuff" and then "who can listen the best to Miss Shelby". Who could ask for more, right? Of course like all children we all were a little restless at the end of the session but I sure do feel attached to my new little friends after our session. A big thank you to parents and friends Seliena and Darren who admitted that this was their FIRST time taking professional pictures of their kids. After my whole "shame on you" speech I suddenly realized the pressure was on BIG TIME! I hope you all love the memories we captured. I am so thankful for having photographed your family =) -Shelby

My Little Princess Turns 4!!!

This weekend we celebrated my little angel's 4th birthday. As you can see we had a blast indulging the girls in princess mania! Finley, our next door neighbor, classmate and friend joined us along with her mom, Amanda, and our family. We started the day with breakfast surrounded by the Disney characters and then off to the Bippity Bobbity Boutique at Downtown Disney. The girls were pampered and showered with Pixie Dust. Amanda and I just cracked up the entire time watching our little Diva's smile and soak it all in. Plus we must have been the loudest and most obnoxious family there (of course)! We thought it was just fitting that both the girls picked the "Belle" princess dress (we shopped separately) and both picked the same hairstyle and pink weave to go in their hair at the boutique. It was such a special day and everyone had a great time including the men who came along for the show. Of course, I could not forget a picture of my little angel boy, Oliver, who a trooper throughout the whole day. I love, love, love my family so dearly and cannot express in words how much motherhood means to me....A big thanks to my awesome husband, Andrew, for letting all of us girls play out our princess fantasies!
